Elizabeth Prann

Elizabeth Prann joined NewsNation as a national correspondent in 2023.

Previously, she served as a reporter and anchor for HLN/CNN from 2018-2022, including HLN’s Morning Express with Robin Meade.

Prior to that, she was an anchor for FOX News Channel’s weekend programming block America’s News HQ. During her tenure at the channel, she covered politics extensively, including the 2016 election and Inauguration Day, and conducted interviews with presidential candidates such as then-Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ).

Previously, she worked as FNC’s southwest correspondent based in the Atlanta bureau. While in the field, she reported on major stories, including the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, an active hostage standoff in Midland City, Alabama, the deadly shootings at the University of Alabama, and Hurricanes Irene, Issac, and Sandy.

Prann started her career as a production assistant at FOX News where she was responsible for creating digital and podcast content for the primetime program “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.” In 2008, she left FOX to work as a reporter and morning show anchor for NBC affiliate WJHG-TV. 

Prann graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
